Smith College Greenhouses and Bulb Show
Come and see the Smith College Bulb Show beginning March 7. Stay here at Stone House Farm and enjoy a cup of tea in our own bulb show in our conservatory porch. We have blooming cyclamens, cymbidium orchids, daffodils and hyacinths, amaryllis and many more. Then the next day head on down to the Mt Holyoke College bulb show, for another delicious experience of mid-winter floral delight!
Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art is located here in Amherst. I think they have the best children's book selection in their book store that I've ever seen. Free crafts classes and lovely short movies for kids in the theater make it a favorite destination for my grandchildren. Bring a picnic and enjoy!

Smith College Museum of Art
The Smith College Museum of Art got its beginnings in the 1870, and has become widely recognized as of the leading academic museums in the nation. I've spent many an hour there enjoying the thought provoking installations and permanent collections. They have a fun gift store, too.
