Grades 2-6

Candi grew up on a farm where everything was made “from scratch” and the secret ingredient in her grandmothers cooking was love. “Kids in the kitchen” is a hands-on cooking experience where basic ingredients, a little science, and love come together in a wonderful, edible art form. The kids bring home their creations, could be dinner for four, home baked bread, or wonderful deserts. For 4 weeks this Fall we will be in the craft studio making kitchen-related crafts due to remodeling of the farm kitchen. Cost: $180 monthly.

Summer Arts & Crafts Program

Kids from the summer camp picking insects off the flowers to feed the chickens.

Summer activities at Stone House Farm will center around old-fashioned arts & crafts, exploration of the world around us and baking in the farm kitchen. Decorative Furniture painting continues to be the primary craft focus of our summer program. This year we'll provide the furniture for the kids to paint. We'll take care of the farm animals daily and make a full sized pie to take home each week, made from local fruits and berries. This summer we’ll be weaving rugs and making custom word bricks. And we’ll have our art show in the garden for our parents and guests each week on Friday afternoons.

All this and more as we celebrate the many joys of summer. 9-3 daily, $375 per week, for kids entering grades 2-6.

We will have two weeks set aside for older students in grades 6-9 only.MIddle school weeks will have additional options of making jewelry and have a machine sewing project.
